News spread like wildfire across the internet that Kevin Clash-the voice behind our sweet lil baby Elmo of Sesame Street, had sex with an underage {16 year old} boy. The boy, now a 24 year old man, accused Clash of said acts and even gave his story to TMZ.
However, TMZ failed to fact check their story before announcing the news to the public. Today, the accuser {who has remained anonymous} has recanted his story and denies that any such thing even happened...that it was indeed an adult consensual relationship between the two men! This is a huge relief to Clash, I'm sure, as he had taken a leave of absence from Sesame Street to consult with his legal team in an effort to clear his name.
Clash provided this statement thru a spokeswoman, "I am relieved that this painful allegation has been put to rest. I will not discuss it further". Sesame Street also released a statement, "We are pleased that this matter has been brought to a close, and we are happy that Kevin can move on from this unfortunate episode."
So are we honey! My faith in humanity has been restored =).....as for TMZ fraudulently leaking such news, Kevin Clash- I smell a lawsuit! (At the time of this report Harvey from TMZ could not be reached). Hmmmm.....
