This beautiful photo is of our Commander In Chief, Jay Z, and Beyonce last night in NYC at Jay's 40/40 Club. The high profile couple held a fundraiser for President Obama's reelection bringing in a whopping 40 million dollars.
The fund raiser consisted of 100 persons who donated $40,000 a head in support of the cause. Beyonce has been quoted as saying, "I can't tell you how proud we are to host tonight's event with President Obama...We believe in his vision".
The President had words of his own regarding the power couple. He stated, "Jay Z now knows, you know, what my life is like. We both have daughters and our wives are more popular than we are....So we've got a little bond there. It's hard but it's OK". He also said that "Beyonce couldn't be a better role model for his girls, as she handles herself with class".
According to reports, Michelle and their two daughters couldn't attend the function. They weren't pleased about that, but it was a school night. #LoveIt
