Essence Magazine has named our very own Olympic gold medalist, Gabrielle 'Gabby' Douglas, as the Essence Woman of the year! They {Essence}, released a statement that are "Very proud to honor extraordinary Black women each month, and this issue {December 2012} it features 2012 Women of the Year".
