Six year old Alana Thompson, b.k.a. Honey Boo Boo, was the break out star from the hit show Toddlers & Tiara's. Viewers loved the chubby little miss, thus spawning the spinoff -'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' on TLC.
Honey's mother, June 'The Coupon Queen' Shannon, is shown here in a January 2008 mugshot photo. She was arrested for theft and contempt of court in Henry County, Georgia. The details, according to reports, are shaky. However, it is known that she was also battling two child support cases at the same damn time.
A source told the National Enquirer that "as a result of June and Mike Thompson's (Honey's father, June's husband) unorthodox, and highly publicized parenting" the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services paid the family a visit this past March. Aside from giving the child 'go go juice' which is Mountain Dew and the energy drink Red Bull, it's said that the family often gives the girl roadkill for dinner. Well, I'll just be damned.
